BrightBuilt Home

About

Built on the mission of providing beautiful, sustainable, and attainable homes, BrightBuilt Home launched in 2013 as a sister company to the acclaimed New England-based Architecture firm, Kaplan Thompson Architects. The goal was to fulfill a demand for homes that provided less environmental impact and were a sustainable investment for the future, by tapping the existing infrastructure of off-site construction. By developing designs and specifications that aligned with both these performance goals and modular construction, we have created a repeatable, guided, and engaged process that shepherds new homeowners through the visioning, designing, selections, production, and finish-out of their new net-zero prefab homes. Features standard in every BrightBuilt Home design include superinsulation, triple-pane windows and doors, tight air sealing details, and energy-efficient heating, cooling, and mechanical systems. BrightBuilt Home was named as the Designer/Developer with the most completed Net Zero projects in North America (78) in Team Zero’s 2018 Residential Buildings Study. Since that time, the company has added another 180 homes to its roster. We continue to bring better living to homeowners, communities, and the environment we share, and are eager to continue to grow our presence into new regions within New England, the Mid-Atlantic, and beyond.
